- Completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent; OR
- Completion of a Certificate IV level or higher qualification or equivalent

Acceptable English Proficiency Test Results
The above results can be from one test sitting, or a maximum of two test sittings in a six-month period only if:
- IELTS Academic:
- you achieve a minimum overall score of 7 in each sitting, and
- you achieve a minimum score of 7 in each component across the two sittings, and
- no score in any component of the test is below 6.5
- PTE Academic:
- a minimum overall score of 65 is achieved in each sitting, and
- you achieve a minimum score of 65 in each of the communicative skills across the two sittings, and
- no score in any of the communicative skills is below 58
- OET:
- you are tested in all four components in each sitting, and
- you achieve a minimum score of B in each component across the two sittings, and
- no score in any component of the test is below C.
- TOEFL iBT:
- a minimum total score of 94 is achieved in each sitting, and you achieve a minimum score of 24 for listening, 24 for reading, 27 for writing and 23 for speaking across the two sittings, and
- no score in any of the sections here is below; 20 for listening, 19 for reading, 24 for writing, and 20 for speaking

Course Pre-Requisite Requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of course commencement
- Successful completion of the language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) test and demonstration of competence level as exit level 3
- Completion of a Pre-Enrolment Interview
Stanley College requires that students for this course have 'basic computer literacy' which covers the most common usages of a computer, including; managing computer files, word processing, using spreadsheets and databases; creating presentations; finding information and communicating using computers; and being aware of social and ethical implications of Internet use.
