New Worker Trainees will kick-start a career in the fast growing and diverse hospitality industry, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to be competent in a varied range of positions within food and beverage. They will acquire a range of well-developed hospitality service, sales or operational skills and sound knowledge of industry operations.

Entry requirements

Pre-Requisite Entry Requirement: No Pre-Requisite Entry Requirements exist for this course.

Traineeships Eligibility:

  • Should be at least 15 years of age (for applicants under 15 years old, conditions apply).
  • Must be an Australian citizen or hold an Australian visa that will support the employment and study arrangements specified in the training contract (valid for the duration of the training contract).
  • Must be in or entering part-time or full-time employment with an employer (rather than being a casual employee or self-employed).
