This unit supersedes HLTAID001 and provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course covers the knowledge and skills required to provide CPR, manage and assess an emergency, use an automatic external defibrillator (AED), understand DRSABCD and the First Aider's legal responsibilities.
Entry Requirements

Student must provide their Unique Student Identifier (USI) during enrolment process.

All assessment tasks must be completed and submitted before the practical training day, which is expected to take approximately 4 hours. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a Statement of Attainment indicating competency in HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation which is a Nationally Recognised training.
