You're considered someone who has recently left university if:

Applicants with higher education are those whose highest level of study since leaving secondary education is a higher education course, such as a university degree. This may include applicants who are currently studying a higher education course at another education provider and want to transfer to Curtin University, or applicants who are currently studying at Curtin but want to switch to a different course. It may also include applicants who have completed past study with university and non-university higher education providers.

Curtin course switcher criteria

The Undergraduate Certificate may enable entry (and credit for the four units completed) into the Digital and Social Media major (MJRU-NETCM) within the Bachelor of Arts (B-ARTS) among others at Curtin.

English requirements

Where course structure permits, completion of the Undergraduate Certificate in Go Local Sustainable Futures Regional Internship will lead to credit completed for the Go Local Regional Study Experience Specialisation.

Applicants must hold a bachelor degree and registration as a general nurse in Division One with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) OR must be registered as a midwife. Students need to be able to undertake a compulsory five-day pre-clinical skills workshop at the Bentley campus prior to their clinical placement.

There are no further fees incurred for this workshop but rural students will need to source and fund travel and accommodation expenses. Applicants for this course should refer to the Faculty website for more information on Communicable Diseases and Criminal Record Screening and Clearance.

This course requires students to complete a clinical practice unit in an approved community agency under the preceptorship of a community health nurse.
