Entry requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Honours programs applicants must also meet the following specific requirements:

• An accredited three-year sequence in Psychology completed within the last five years. This sequence must be achieved through the completion of:
• An APAC-accredited bachelor's degree with a major in psychology; OR
• An APAC-accredited Graduate Diploma in psychology
• A distinction average or higher in Psychology and strong performance across the bachelor's program.

Specific Program Requirements for Admission

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Secondary Teaching applicants must also meet the following specific requirements:

• This award is only available to those who hold a bachelor degree from a recognised Higher Education Provider.
• Applicants who have not successfully completed their Secondary education in an English-speaking country will be required to sit the IELTS Academic Test and achieve a minimum overall score of 7.5 in IELTS Academic, with no score lower than 8.0 in speaking and listening, and no score lower than 7.0 in reading and writing.
• Applicants must have successfully completed a Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification with a minimum of six courses in an area of study offered by UNDA.
• Applicants may also be admitted with a second teaching area (usually at least 4 units) in a discipline area relevant to the secondary school curriculum.

While minimum entry requirements need to be met, we also consider a student's application more broadly - their non-academic achievements (professional work experience, leadership roles, volunteering, community and/or church involvement), as well as their personal qualities, aspirations, interests and capacity to successfully complete this program.

Specific Program Requirements for Admission

• This award is only available to those who hold a Bachelor degree from a recognised Higher Education Provider.

The program is open to you if you are a Registered Nurse with a previous degree or if you have no degree but have accumulated a wealth of experience in nursing.

English Language Requirements

You must be able to demonstrate two years of full-time secondary, vocational or tertiary level of study in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, United Kingdom or the United States of America. If you do not meet these requirements you will need to sit the Academic IELTS exam and achieve a score of at least 7.0 overall and 7.0 in each sub-section (reading, writing, listening and speaking) to qualify for entry into the Master of Nursing (Perioperative). This applies to Permanent Residents and Australian citizens whose first language is not English and have not completed two years full-time academic study in Australia. IELTS results will need to be verified by the Admissions Office before an offer of a place can be made. The Admissions Office reserves the right to ask for IELTS results from any applicant. Specific Program Requirements for Admission:

• Hold the equivalent of a four-year teaching qualification
• Normally have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.5

Students who have completed the Encountering Jesus accreditation pathway may receive up to 50 units of credit of RPL upon admission into this program.

To be eligible for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care Nursing applicants must also meet the following specific requirements:

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, or provisional registration, which is applicable at the time of the student's program commencement.

To be eligible for admission to the Graduate Certificate (Ministry Leadership), applicants must meet the following additional requirements:

• Have completed an AQF7 award in any field, or demonstrate at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, to be determined by the Arete Centre and the School of Philosophy and Theology.
• Demonstrate that they are engaged in a form of church ministry that will form the basis of their theological reflection throughout the program.
• Provide a referee to the Arete Centre and be approved by the Arete Centre prior to enrolling at the University.

Students need to be endorsed by the Arete Centre first, before applying to enrol into the program.
