About this course

Overview

The Graduate Certificate (Missionary Leadership) forms students with spiritual formation, theological knowledge, and the practical skills to become missionary leaders. Studies take place in intensives and facilitated sessions across the year. Participants are provided with the theological foundations of mission, theories of ministerial leadership, and the tools of reflection with which to integrate this learning into their practice of ministry.

Why study this program?

The Graduate Certificate (Missionary Leadership) is a program offered in partnership with the Arete Centre for Missionary Leadership. Students enrol through the University and gain access to the resources of University life. At the same time, they enter into a community of prayer and enquiry across the year, becoming prepared for leadership in mission.

This Graduate Certificate will call upon both theoretical and practical learning, whereby students will participate in the activities of their local parishes, experiencing what it means to lead while serving.
