    All applicants are required to normally be turning at least 18 by 30 June the year of commencing the course, and provide a folio. An interview is also required. Additionally applicants must provide evidence of their skills in Live Production and Technical Services and the ability to develop solutions in at least one technical area, produce a body of work demonstrating skills in at least one technical area, respond effectively to workplace challenges and requirements in line with current industry standards and apply knowledge of trends and traditions in at least one technical area. These skills and knowledge may have been acquired through personal or work experience, or through formal study, with equivalents considered.

    All applicants are required to provide proof of current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and to submit a copy of their contract as proof they are working a minimum 18 hours a week in their chosen specialty area. For applicants undertaking the Mental Health and Children and Young Peoples Nursing streams that is all that is required.

    For applicants in all other streams the following requirements must be met. Applicants must provide a letter of support from their employer and the details of a Clinical Facilitator.

    Special entry may be considered for Registered Nurses with hospital-based diploma working in the specialty area, please refer to the specialisation stream for further information.

    Applicants who are packaged with an English preparation course must be re-tested against an approved English test before admission.
