ATAR of 70 or equivalent.

Completion of a Bachelor Degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent in the same discipline or cognate area with a GPA 2.5 or above, and distinction average in units relating to the planned Honours study. Subject to availability of a suitable supervisor and approval by the Academic Chair.

As per normal undergraduate admission requirements. Highly recommended subjects: Physics 3A/3B, Chemistry 3A/3B, Mathematics and Human Biological Science 3A/3B.

A Bachelor's degree (AQF Level 7 or equivalent) in any field.

Recognised Bachelor's degree or higher; or satisfactory preparation for the course through informal or non-formal learning and/or professional experiences subject to the approval of the Academic Chair.

Completion of a Bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent.

Bachelor of Science in cognate discipline (AQF Level 7). Other AQF Level 7 qualifications will be considered if they are broadly relevant to food science and contain units in biological or chemical sciences, at the discretion of the Academic Chair. OR Successful completion of the requirements for G1095 (Graduate Diploma in Food Science).

Completion of the Murdoch University Graduate Diploma in Counselling. OR Comparable programs from other institutions (e.g. Graduate Diploma in Counselling) may be eligible following assessment of previous course content by the Academic chair. Applicants from institutions other than Murdoch will also need to provide: Academic records - certificate of marks, Reference of suitability from previous institution, Provision of Unit guides to for assessment of content and learning outcomes of nominated units. The selection process for all applicants includes: Submission of a personal statement that details past accomplishments, future plans, and interests in completing the Master of Counselling; Curriculum Vitae; and Interview. A maximum of 24 credit points of recognised prior learning may be granted to those applications who have completed equivalent coursework. If the recognised prior learning is equivalent to 12 credit points or less an amended offer for the Graduate Diploma in Counselling may be made. Applications will be assessed by the Academic Chair and suitable applicants will be offered an interview.

A three-year Bachelor degree in Psychology accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council or Australian Psychological Society-approved alternative. Applicants with a >10yrs old Bachelor's degree in Psychology will likely be required to complete additional units to demonstrate their competencies required to enter the course. The Academic Chair will consider applications on a competitive basis and recommend students for admission based on an assessment of the student's preparedness to cope with the Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Advanced), and on current teaching resources available to the school. Normally, only students with a credit average or better in their undergraduate psychology units will be considered. In some cases, the Academic Chair may recommend a student for admission, but will likely require the student to demonstrate their readiness for the course by completing additional designated units offered in earlier years than the fourth year. The number of students accepted into the course will be determined on a semester-by-semester basis, and will depend upon available resources.

Undergraduate degree (AQF Level 7 or equivalent) in a health related discipline and evidence of two years of work experience. Preparation for the course through previous study or professional experiences will be considered on a case-by-case basis and subject to approval of the Academic Chair.
