Australia Awards Scholarship (AAS) is funded by Australian Government to provide higher education opportunities for people from developing countries to study in Australia to build the skills and knowledge to drive change as the next generation of global leaders. These scholarships aim to contribute to the development needs of Australia's partner countries in line with bilateral and regional agreements. Scholarships are mainly at the postgraduate level however there is a limited number of undergraduate scholarships (country-specific).
Curtin will work with AAS recipients to equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to drive change and contribute to the economic and social development in their home country and build enduring connections within the community
AAS are offered for the minimum period necessary for the individual to complete the academic program specified by the Australian higher education institution, including any preparatory training. The following benefits generally apply:
