Undergraduate Certificate in Creative Writing (OpenUnis CSP)

This Undergraduate Certificate may lead students into the Creative Writing major (OUMU-CRWRI) within the Bachelor of Arts (OU-ARTS) program offered by Curtin through Open Universities Australia or the equivalent internal course.

• apply principles and concepts of Creative Writing in a variety of contexts relevant to further learning and/or paraprofessional work
• apply critical and creative thinking and problem solving skills relevant to Creative Writing to generate innovative solutions to problems
• use technology appropriately to communicate Creative Writing concepts to experts and non-experts
• consider global perspectives on Creative Writing and international Creative Writing standards
• demonstrate respect for Indigenous values, cultures and knowledges and consider Indigenous perspectives on Creative Writing
• work professionally in teams and independently, and demonstrate life-long learning skills
