Outline Outline Security and Strategic Studies is designed to educate and train future strategic thinkers and leaders. Students studying Security and Strategic Studies major will gain an in-depth understanding of the complex challenges that affect Australia's national security and international security. Topics include introduction to Strategic Studies, history of conflicts and wars, great power rivalry and problems of contemporary arms race, terrorism, insurgency and grey zone operations, intelligence analysis, foundations of contemporary strategic and defence planning, leadership and ethics.
