The Nutrition Stream, further develops the student's understanding of the evidence behind the associations between diet and health outcomes. Students will explore the social and cultural influences that impact dietary decisions within the population. They will conduct a nutrition professional placement to help develop their career identity and facilitate their transition to workplace or postgraduate studies. Graduate nutritionists may undertake further study to specialise in a professional area, including dietetics, research, food science and technology, health promotion or teaching. Graduates from this Stream will be eligible to apply for Association Nutritionist membership with the Nutrition Society of Australia.
