Overview

This course offers an excellent qualification for business professionals looking to accelerate their career, and for career-changers who want to enter the world of international business with globally savvy leadership skills.

You will gain contemporary business knowledge and learn how to evaluate information to make evidence-based, ethical and culturally responsible decisions. You'll also learn how to engage and communicate professionally with culturally diverse industry partners and stakeholders.

Your studies include both independent study and team projects across a range of relevant, internationally focused subjects. You'll also participate in transformative experiences involving industry engagement and practice-based education, study tours, and executive education programs. (Note that you can adjust your course plan to include an internship.)

With expertise in international business, you can drive initiatives in ethical and sustainable business practices, and ensure organisational compliance with sustainability standards and regulations.

International Business is one of seven majors in the Master of Commerce program of nested qualifications - which gives you the option of exiting the course with a Graduate Certificate in Business Fundamentals or a Graduate Diploma in Commerce, upon completing the units required for those qualifications.
