This multidisciplinary course will provide you with a foundation of the key disciplines of health administration. It is designed for health service professionals from a variety of areas who want to enhance their knowledge of policy and management issues within the health care environment.
This course will prepare you for senior management, administrative and planning positions in hospitals and other health services areas. It is offered online, allowing you to fit your study in around your life.

What you need in order to get into this course. There are different pathway options depending on your level of work and education experience.
Specifically, applicants require a Bachelor degree from a recognised tertiary institution in a field relevant to health management, health administration, business administration of healthcare organisation, clinical governance, medical administration, human resource management for health, health information management, health financial management, public health and leadership in health policy.
OR A qualification including but not limited to a Diploma or Certificate IV in health administration, medical administration, practice management, project management, allied health, lived experience health workforce leadership development, aged care leadership and management AND work experience equivalent to two years full-time professional or volunteer experience. Work experience may also include equivalent professional experience acquired as part of a degree of four or more years duration (e.g., MBBS, MD).
Curtin requires all applicants to demonstrate proficiency in English. Specific English requirements for this course are outlined in the IELTS table below.
