The Graduate Certificate in Business Futures is a highly flexible learning qualification that will help to upskill high-performing senior leaders and prepare them for uncertain business futures. With a range of learning experiences to choose from or create, this degree enables organisations to tailor their employees' education to meet the demands of your business today and tomorrow.
The initial three units can be chosen or adapted directly from various Curtin offerings. This includes from our Master of Business Administration or a combination of our Executive Education programs. All students complete a capstone experience, which will position them to draw on the tools, frameworks and theories that have been covered in their chosen units or Executive Education programs, to design and implement a project that will transform their organisational work group, department or sector.
Throughout the course, students will learn how to develop innovative ideas and strategies to prepare for future changes, apply and maintain diverse perspectives in the workplace to stimulate business growth, and source and prepare data to help make more informed business decisions.
The Graduate Certificate in Business Futures can be used to pathway into further postgraduate studies if desired. Options to use existing accredited programs can be added as a credit towards this qualification and can be discussed as part of the initial co-design meeting.
Note: Unlike most of our degrees, the Graduate Certificate in Business Futures is not available for individual enrolment - but rather through organisations choosing to partner with Curtin and enrolling their employees in the degree.
Applicants for a Graduate Certificate are required to meet University academic and English language entry standards; details are provided at http://study.curtin.edu.au/. Applicants generally require a Bachelor Degree or equivalent credit gained for recognised learning. Any specific course entry and completion requirements must also be met. All Curtin courses have compulsory and other core capabilities that are essential for demonstrating the achievement of course learning outcomes and graduation. Students who are unable to meet or demonstrate those requirements, now or in later stages during their studies, may seek reasonable adjustments by the University wherever possible to facilitate alternative ways of achieving those requirements. If reasonable adjustments cannot be accommodated, Curtin will discuss study options to find an alternative course of study or an exit degree. Any specific course entry and completion requirements must also be met.
Admission into this course is by invite only. Please contact execed@curtin.edu.au to register your interest.
Curtin requires all applicants to demonstrate proficiency in English. Specific English requirements for this course are outlined in the IELTS table below.
