This course focuses on transdisciplinary innovation, regenerative thinking, and community engagement, aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It includes on-Country learning and a regional internship to address challenges in Western Australia.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and in recognition of the pivotal role Indigenous Knowledge Systems are playing in tackling our planet's most pressing environmental, social and governance (ESG) sustainability challenges, this course empowers students to step outside of the classroom as they develop foundational competencies in transdisciplinary innovation, regenerative thinking, project ideation, and community engagement. Delivered through a passion-informed, project-based curriculum that includes on-Country learning and an immersive regional internship, this course equips students across all disciplines with the expertise to leverage their degree to effectively address the distinct challenges and opportunities facing regional Western Australia, and actively contribute to meaningful regional change for people, species, and planet.
