This major will give you essential knowledge and skills in food security and sustainable land management, focusing on agricultural systems, aquaculture and food science. The program covers the science and technology behind crop and livestock production, as well as food manufacturing, aiming for sustainable outcomes within environmental constraints.
You will develop specific skills in areas such as soil health, alternative fertilisation methods, aquaculture for food security and food product development. Additionally, you will develop proficiency in data analysis for informed decision-making and become familiar with emerging technologies for precise management of agricultural resources.
