This minor provides students with insight and training into how we understand the earth as an environment, with a focus on methods of scientific analysis. The units collectively cover both the marine and terrestrial realms, and includes analysis of data collected in person and from space, via observation, GIS and satellites. Unit alternates allow students to follow their interests, and enables full compatibility with other study packages. The minor is accessible to all students in the university, but it is anticipated that it will be most popular with those who have a professional or personal interest in earth or environmental sciences.
