About this course

This course will give you an understanding of holistic classical Yoga techniques and it’s benefits, so you can grow and develop your personal Yoga practise but it will also guide you in your first steps toward becoming a holistic Yoga teacher or deepening and progressing your current Yoga teacher qualifications in a holistic way. It will focus on physical movement (Asana), breathing techniques (Pranayama), relaxation techniques (Yoga Nidra, Shavasana), Meditation and Mindfulness techniques (Dhyana), and Yoga philosophy for balanced lifestyle choices to reduce physical, mental and emotional stress.

COURSE DURATION

40 weeks full time, 20 hours per week (if you have selected to study the packaged course, this course duration’s does not include the holiday period.

DELIVERY MODE

This course is delivered over 20 hours per week through a combination of face-to-face and online delivery.

Entry requirements

  • Be a Yogi practitioner and/or be genuinely interested in Yoga tice and holistic Yoga teaching.
  • Completed at least 12 months of personal Yoga practice before admission
  • Be 18 years of age or above
  • Have complete physical ability (may require an interview prior to acceptance)
  • English language level of minimum IELTS 5.5 or equivalent (if the level of English is insufficient, a suitable course can be organised)
  • Year 11 or equivalent certificate of senior secondary education
