About College of Sports and Fitness

The CSF College officially opened its door to its learners in 2009 after being approved to deliver accredited qualifications in Sports Coaching to overseas students. Since then, they have constantly provided students with the knowledge necessary to develop themselves for a successful career in their chosen field.

Its mission is to provide the highest quality of service possible to all members of CSF. Develop leadership skills and knowledge within each learner, prepare each learner for the workforce within the Sport, Fitness and WellnessIndustry, and continue to gain industry recognition and expand and grow nationally and internationally. 

CSF has over 350 students currently studying at CSF spread between Sydney CBD, Manly and Perth campuses.

One of CSF goals is to inspire its learners into a career pathway within the sports and recreation industry; therefore, they understand the importance of being a successful candidate for the workplace. Whichever qualification you choose to specialise in at CSF, they will support specific individual needs in developing the appropriate skills and knowledge inside the sports and recreation workplace. CSF students can have the opportunity to move into many areas in any sport of their choice, including:

  • Sports Coaching
  • Personal Trainer
  • Gym Instructor
  • Officiating/Referee/Judge
  • Sports administration
  • Numerous apprenticeship and volunteer opportunity
  • Sports events coordinator
  • Continue education with Bachelors/Master degree

The Student Jobs Opportunities are available to CSF current students that have either graduated from a Cert III or higher qualification or currently studying within the college. This is designed to assist CSF Students in obtaining interviews and possibly a career related to their course of studies.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

  • Complete all details on the Application Form, pre-existing medical conditions and post, fax or email the forms to the college or complete and submit the online Application Form.
  • Attach certified copies of academic records including subject descriptions and/or work experience. If you have previously studied in any educational institution in Australia attach a copy of your academic transcripts and attendance record.
  • Have achieved an English language level of minimum TOEFL 500, IELTS 5.5 or equivalent (upper-intermediate)
  • Be 18 years of age or above.
  • Attach a copy of passport and English Certificate (if applicable).
  • Have complete physical ability (this would be limited for example by missing primary body limbs i.e. an arm or leg, or having completely impaired vision or hearing).
  • Pay the course fees according to the course fees schedule (in Australian dollars). Obtain and comply with your Student Visa.
  • You may also be required for one on one interview with the CSF careers advisor prior to acceptance.
  • Must have completed the lower qualification in order to start the higher qualification as all qualifications are delivered as a package.

Caio is a former CSF student, He recently applied to a sponsorship visa using CSF qualification of Sport Development. Caio today is a Black belt BJJ trainer at Legacy.
