Waardong is a special entry and enabling program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who want to study veterinary medicine and other animal and biological science based courses at Murdoch University.

This special entry and enabling support course is available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are enrolled in veterinary medicine, and other animal and biological science based courses. Entry can be obtained through recommendation after attendance at the one-week residential Testing and Selection process. Alternate entry may be permitted through K-Track, with approval from the relevant Academic Chair. Students entering relevant courses via TISC or direct university application will also be permitted, with approval from the relevant Academic Chair.

To be eligible for admission as a candidate for a Research Masters with Training (RMT), an applicant must: * have a Bachelor Degree in the same or cognate discipline (AQF level 7); or * have a Bachelor Degree in a different discipline (AQF level 7) and: a) have successfully completed a graduate course in the same discipline requiring at least one year of equivalent full-time study (AQF level 8); or b) satisfy the Dean of Graduate Research with evidence of professional attainments (of at least two years' full-time duration or equivalent) relevant to the proposed research discipline; or * satisfy the Dean of Graduate Research with evidence of significant scholarly or professional attainments equivalent to AQF level 8.

All applicants are required to have completed or be completing a Bachelor of Computer Science, Counter Terrorism Security and Intelligence, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Security (or equivalent) with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 per cent or higher. Students are required to consult with the relevant Course Coordinator before making an application for admission.

The objective of the High School Preparation Program is to prepare students to enter mainstream formal secondary education in Australia or another English speaking country.
If you're approaching Year 12 and are not guaranteed an ATAR Selection Rank but want to study at Murdoch after high school, FlexiTrack High could be the perfect option for you.

FlexiTrack High is suitable for aspirational high school students who are seeking an alternative to ATAR for entry into university. They are nominated by representatives from participating schools. It is also open to humanitarian visa students attending the partnership school.
