About this course

This course is designed for students with moderate language experience. It builds upon pre-intermediate studies and aims to improve English proficiency.

Some examples of Intermediate skills include understanding complex lines of an argument, understanding particular attitudes within writing, participating in fluent and active discussions and writing a cover letter.

After successfully completing this course, students will be at an approximately IELTS 5.0 or equivalent level. Successfully completing the Intermediate English course at WAIFS will also allow students to progress to 097555G Upper-Intermediate English at WAIFS.

*This course will be delivered and assessed via classroom delivery.

Entry requirements

IELTS score of 4.5 (or equivalent).
