About this course

If you wish to be able to apply a broad WHS (Work Health and Safety) based knowledge and well-developed skills in a variety of work contexts, then this is the course for you. It is especially suitable for people working in a WHS role, such as a WHS officer who works under the supervision of an WHS Coordinator or WHS Manager.

When you graduate from this course, the titles of job roles you could apply for vary across different industry sectors, but include:

  • Work Health and Safety Coordinator
  • Work Health and Safety Officer

*Please note all WAIFS courses are also offered via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

** This course will be delivered and assessed via classroom delivery, distance learning and online assessment.

Entry requirements

Successful completion of Year 11 (or equivalent).

IELTS score of 5.0 (or equivalent).
