The Professional Certificate in Wellbeing in Education provides individuals with the knowledge and skills required for educators to become leading professionals in pastoral care. As contemporary education settings experience unique challenges regarding student behaviour, mental health and wellbeing in schools; it is essential that educators in positions of pastoral care responsibility are adequately equipped to respond to individual student needs.
The Professional Certificate in Wellbeing in Education is a graduate-level program for teachers, education professionals and associated professions, who wish to gain additional knowledge and recognition as a specialist in leading wellbeing in education. This program is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of educators to support students and colleagues' wellbeing and resilience, and to lead others to do so. Courses focus on wellbeing, resilience and pastoral care in educational contexts.
The Professional Certificate in Wellbeing in Education entails the completion of two postgraduate courses from a selection of six courses offered by the School of Education in Fremantle and Sydney.

On completion of the Professional Certificate in Wellbeing in Education, students can apply for advanced standing into the MEd (Leadership and Management), MEd (Curriculum) or MEd (Religious Education). The amount of advanced standing would depend on the courses completed and the Master of Education specialisation chosen.
