About this course

This qualification reflects the roles of community services, case management and social housing workers involved in the managing, coordinating and/or delivering of personcentered services to individuals, groups, and communities.

At this level, workers have specialized skills in community services and work autonomously under broad directions from senior management. Workers are usually providing direct support to individuals or groups of individuals. Workers may also have responsibility for the supervision of other workers and volunteers and/or case management, program coordination or the development of new business opportunities.

This course includes a work placement of 200 hours to be completed within the course duration.

Entry requirements

  • To enroll in this course, students must:
  • Be 18 years or older at the time of commencement.
  • Have successfully completed Year 12 or equivalent.
  • Provide evidence of English proficiency (e.g., IELTS 6.0 or equivalent).
  • Hold a valid USI (Unique Student Identifier).
