On completion you will also be able to develop and document specifications and procedures, and overhaul engines and associated engine components. Completing this course will give you the knowledge and some of the skills of an automotive mechanic, however you will not receive a trade certificate or be able to work as a fully qualified mechanic without achieving the provisional skills assessment requirements of Trades Recognition Australia.
