The creative world of animation and game art awaits you after you successfully complete this qualification. This hands on course provides an introduction to producing professional animation and game art using industry standard software.

During your studies you will develop your creative skills in 3-D modelling and texturing, digital art, 2-D animation, game design and development, and video editing. In addition, you will learn skills in software such as Autodesk Maya, Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Substance Painter, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects.

This course will put you on the right track for an exciting and satisfying career pathway in animation.

Entry requirements

  • An IELTS score (academic) of 6.0 with no band score less than 5.0 or equivalent.

  • Completion of the equivalent of Australian Year 10.

    To achieve this qualification, students must demonstrate competency in 13 units. These 13 are comprised of 4 core units and 9 elective units. Elective units listed below have been selected in consultation with industry.

    Students who enrol into this qualification will be eligible for credit transfer of the units that they have already achieved.
