Engage your passion for working with children and supporting their individual needs by completing the Certificate IV in Education Support. This course will further develop your practical skills and knowledge to assist the teaching staff in schools and provide care, instruction and supervision in kindergarten, pre-primary, primary and secondary school. As this course follows on from the Certificate III in Education Support, it helps build your existing knowledge in implementing education programs, assisting students in their learning and development, contributing to the safety and health of students and supporting students with additional needs and disabilities. During your studies, you may also cover topics such as contributing to and implementing behaviour management plans, understanding and applying legal and ethical requirements, identifying and responding to children and young people at risk and participating in workplace health and safety.
