The Certificate IV in Health Administration course is recognised throughout Australia. This qualification teaches you how to understand and apply medical terminology, manage patient record-keeping systems, and contribute to the organisational effectiveness of the health industry. In addition to this, you will learn a variety of customer service strategies which will allow you to provide quality client care in a range of medical and health care environments.
Gaining a Certificate IV in Health Administration can open several employment opportunities within the health sector, and you will be able to perform a range of administrative functions in health services, both autonomously and as a senior member of staff in an administrative team. You may find yourself working in medical institutions, such as clinics, hospitals, community health centres and private practices.

You will also need to obtain evidence of a Police Check and a Working with Children's Check to ensure participation in Professional Experience Placement.

In this Nationally Recognised course you will complete 14 units of competency (6 core and 8 elective units). This course is conducted in 3 terms, each comprising 10 weeks, exclusive of holidays. You will attend college 20 hours per week.
