Entry requirements

English Proficiency:
There is no minimum English requirement for entry to General English. 

Course level will be assigned upon completion of the Stanley College placement test. Below is the alignment of English Language proficiency on the CEFR to course levels in the Stanley College placement test:

  • Beginner – A0 CEFR
  • Elementary – A1 CEFR
  • Pre-Intermediate – A2 CEFR
  • Intermediate – B1 CEFR
  • Upper Intermediate – B2 CEFR
