About this course

 

This qualification provides a trade outcome in solid plastering in the residential and commercial construction industry. The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as a specialist field of work. The construction industry strongly affirms that training and assessment leading to recognition of skills must be undertaken in a real or very closely simulated workplace environment and this qualification requires all units of competency to be delivered in this context. Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A covers this requirement.

 

This qualification provides a pathway to work as a plasterer in general construction or as a sole trader. Possible job title includes plasterer.

Academic English Language
Year 11 or equivalent;
Various Certificate II Construction qualifications or with limited or no vocational experience and without a lower level qualification
Intermediate Level of English or
IELTS Test Score of 6 overall (General or Academic) or
TOEFL iBT Test Score of 60 or
PTE Academic Test Score of 51.6 or
Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) Test Score of 169 or
OET Pass Grade B or
IELTS test score of 5.5 or equivalent can take our English Language Placement test. this is only applicable for English speaking country (level 1 country)
