ICT50220 – Diploma of Information Technology (Cyber Security) is a practical, hands-on qualification aimed at equipping the students with the skills and knowledge in information technology and cybersecurity. The course covers many essential skills and knowledge areas such as operating systems, servers, IT networking, and cybersecurity.

Entry requirements

  • Successful completion of Year 12, equivalent or a higher qualification. Refer to the Australian Year 12 equivalence table. NIT may also accept you in this course if you have any other relevant qualifications, certifications and/or experience; and
  • Applicant must be 18 years or above before commencement of study at NIT; and
  • Overall IELTS band score of 5.5, with no band score less than 5.0 (or an equivalent score in another English Language Proficiency Test acceptable by NIT Australia). Refer to the Table of equivalent scores for other acceptable tests and certificates.
