If you are passionate about improving safety in the workplace to prevent illness and injury in your organisation and looking to make a career for yourself as an OHS officer or inspector, then look no further than our entry level Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety qualification. This course is suited to those who already oversee workplace health and safety (WHS) in their workplace or those who are interested in making this their career.
Our nationally accredited Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety course is offered as a part time evening study option. In 12 short months, we'll teach you the fundamental skills and knowledge for you to take that next step in your career.
Our course delivery features a combination of on-campus and remote (online) learning. This flexibility allows our students to continue to study in a safe, guided and supported manner.
Entry Requirements
Can I Apply?
There are no set prerequisites for this course. However it is recommended that you have satisfactory numeracy and literacy skills to undertake this course or are mature age and have sufficient work experience to successfully undertake the course. OR You may apply if you have satisfactorily completed VCE or an approved equivalent course and the satisfactory completion of the work requirements (eligibility to transfer); or are mature age and have sufficient work experience to successfully undertake the course. (Mature age is anyone over the age of 18 who has been out of full-time education for more than 12 months.)
