Can I Apply?

  • Those entering this qualification must be able to demonstrate vocational competence in their proposed training and assessing area. Vocational competence is defined as broad industry knowledge and experience, and may include, but is not limited to, holding a relevant unit of competency or qualification.
  • Attend an individual interview.
  • Complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment, or be able to demonstrate successful completion of year 12 (secondary education) or a Certificate IV or higher in any training package.

How Will I Be Selected?

Potential students are asked to attend a 'TAE Information Session', you must complete a Pre Course Interview document, this allows the selectors to determine the suitability of the course.

All students undertake a Pre Training Review to ensure the Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40122) course is suitable and appropriate for them; students are given feedback on that review prior to enrolment.
