The Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance is a professional accreditation that focuses on the role of workers who provide therapeutic and program related support to allied health professionals.
As this work requires support and judgement, our approach to teaching will prepare you to confidently identify client circumstances that need additional input from the allied health professional. Your learning will blend theoretical with relevant practical knowledge so that you're ready to enter the healthcare industry.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course; however, applicants should demonstrate ability to perform tasks as required by the industry.
IHNA Admission Requirements*Mature age students (22+) may also be considered without the minimum education requirements. Each case will be reviewed individually to ascertain the capacity of the applicant to meet course requirements.
Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND)All IHNA students must complete the Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital (LLND) assessment to ensure that students meet the necessary requirements for successfully undertaking the course. IHNA administers the LLND test to evaluate each student's suitability.
