Speech Pathology is ideal for anyone who wants to help people with communication difficulties. Speech Pathologists are trained to assess and treat people who have a communication difficulty. They also work with families and trained professionals, such as teachers and medical practitioners, to assist them interacting with people who have communication problems.
Students in ECU's Bachelor of Speech Pathology participate in clinical placements from the first year of their studies, The practicum placements build in length and complexity across the four years of the program.
