Master of Nurse Education

Prepares nurses to undertake senior roles in nurse education, training, continuing education, and/or staff development in the healthcare sector.

The course focuses on developing and enhancing teaching and learning knowledge, skills, and practices that enable graduates to have an impact on the next generation of nurses.

• Reflect critically on a complex body of contemporary nurse education knowledge, research principles and methods to demonstrate mastery of nurse education practice.
• Apply cognitive, and creative analytical skills to investigate, evaluate and synthesise complex concepts and theories in authentic practice settings and contexts.
• Apply communication and collaboration skills to design innovative contributions to nurse education practice.
• Use high level self-management skills to initiate, plan and disseminate a substantial project.
