The following course-specific admission requirements are mandatory and must be satisfied by all applicants. These requirements are in addition to or supersede the minimum requirements outlined within the Academic admission requirements band section below.
All applicants are required to provide proof of current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Midwife Division 1.
Academic admission requirements may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:
Graduate Diploma in Midwifery; or
Equivalent post graduate midwifery study.
Academic admission requirements (Band 8) may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:

This course can lead to roles in advanced midwifery practice, consulting in high-risk pregnancies and complex deliveries. It can also lead to leadership roles for teams working in hospitals or birthing centres.
