Bachelor (Honours)
The Bachelor of Laws (Honours) is an additional year of study offered to high achieving law students.
You will expand on the knowledge gained through the Bachelor of Laws and sharpen your research skills through coursework. What's more, you'll explore an in-depth research project on a topic of your choice under the guidance of an academic.
This program will provide you with a competitive edge in the legal profession and can lead to further research opportunities in the field of Law through a PhD or Master's degree by research.

The following course-specific admission requirements are mandatory and must be satisfied by all applicants. These requirements are in addition to or supersede the minimum requirements outlined within the Academic admission requirements band section below.
All applicants are required to have completed their Bachelor of Laws degree or Juris Doctor from a recognised Australian University and achieved a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 or higher. For students completing the double degree, the WAM considered would be for the Law program only. Additionally, the acceptance of a student as a Honours candidate will depend on the discipline's supervisory expertise to guide the student on the topic of interest.
