Bachelor
This nationally accredited course is designed to graduate early childhood professionals who are ready to teach in schools and early learning centres and advocate for childhood.
A key feature of this course is connecting theory with practice. Graduates will have the knowledge, skills and practices to be able to develop high quality early childhood education programs for children from birth to 8 years of age.
Industry partnerships with over 1,000 schools and early learning centres enable Pre-Service Teachers to gain experience across diverse settings; including public, private, metropolitan, regional and remote contexts, as they work with children, families and communities.
A distinguishing feature of this course is that fourth year Pre-Service Teachers have the opportunity to choose specialised units to broaden their knowledge and skills in an area of interest. For example, they may select units that provide for the accreditation requirements to teach in Catholic schools.
In addition, final year Pre-Service Teachers can apply for a place in the internship program in either a school or early learning setting.
