Diploma of Commerce

Diploma of Commerce (Year 1) provides you with an overall perspective of business processes and foundational business skills. The units you will study are designed to enhance your learning experience, and provide you with the underpinning knowledge necessary to prepare you for further studies at university level.

Diploma of Commerce (Year 2) provides you with an overall perspective of business processes and fundamental business skills. The units you will study should be selected from the area in which you plan to specialise for your degree.

• Bachelor of Commerce majoring in: Accounting, Accounting & Finance*, Entrepreneurship, Event Management, Finance, Health Management, Human Resource Management, International Business, International Hotel and Resort Management, Law in Business, Management, Marketing, Marketing for the Creative Arts, Project Management, Sport Business, Tourism and Hospitality Management - 2 years

(*If you want to do the Accounting and Finance Major in the Bachelor of Commerce program at ECU, you may have to do an additional unit at ECU. This may change the duration of the Bachelor program at ECU to 2.5 years)

• Bachelor of Hospitality and Tourism Management - 2 years
• Bachelor of Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations - 2 years
