About this course

This qualification will provide you with the fundamental skills required to work effectively in a community and/or residential setting and provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. You will gain the necessary skills and knowledge to use your discretion and judgement in relation to individual support.

Entry requirements

For Domestic Students:

Completion of Year 10 or equivalent.

For International Students:

Must be 18 year or older; completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent; IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
