Applied Education offers a fast-track option for international students who do not have the FNS40222 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.

On completion of FNS50222 Diploma of Accounting, you will be able to:

  • Prepare reports for corporate entities
  • Prepare tax documents for individuals
  • Provide business performance reporting
  • Produce and analyse budgets
  • Implement internal control procedures
  • Perform management level accounting tasks

Course Duration & Delivery

You will have up to 12 months to complete the Diploma of Accounting course.

This course is delivered through a combination of face-to-face classes and online learning. 

Classes are held between Mondays and Fridays for 40 weeks with 24 contact hours per week.

Students are also expected to complete online study each week, including class assignments, preparation and research.

Students have full access to our Online Student Platform. All learning material and assessments are accessed via the platform.

Entry requirements

To enrol in this course, you must

  • be at least 18 years old.
  • have basic proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • have completed of Australian Year 12 or equivalent; and
  • have a minimum IELTS Academic Test Score of 6.0 (with no band less than 5.0) or equivalent
