Course Overview

Kick start your career in the civil construction industry with the Diploma of Civil Construction Design. This qualification prepares you for work as a designer or design paraprofessional who supports professional engineers. This course prepares you to perform tasks involving a high level of autonomy and requiring significant judgement in planning and selecting equipment/roles/techniques.

You are required to develop site-specific work designs to ensure the implementation of clients' site requirements. You will learn the latest industry software, such as AutoCAD, CivilCAD, Revit, 12D and DRAINS to help with the design of construction and infrastructure projects.

Course Structure

To receive this qualification, students must complete a total of 20 elective units. These may vary from term to term and between campuses. The permitted combinations will depend on a number of considerations, including the packaging rules for the qualification.
