    • Completion of STAT with scores of at least 160 in the Multiple Choice section and 160 in the Written English section.

    The Bachelor of Agribusiness is designed to prepare you for employment in a variety of fields related to agriculture, including finance, marketing, international trade, policy formation, business management, and rural development. You will learn to understand the unique nature of businesses related to agriculture, and develop the business and economics skills needed to assume managerial and leadership roles in agriculture and related industries.

    As predicted by the UN, the world population is projected to reach 9.7 billion by 2050. We need to find ways to intensify agriculture to meet our needs but at the same time look after the environment we live in. I want to change the world for the better and make a difference. The opportunity to pick up a second major in Conservation Biology (with advanced standing) gives me the knowledge required to understand the link between conserving the environment while achieving optimal output in agriculture.

    UWA is a world-class institution for Agriculture, with esteemed professors and researchers who provide us all the tools to excel.

    One thing I enjoyed most about my course was the opportunity to attend the 16th International Students Summit in Tokyo with a classmate. I made so many friends from top agricultural universities and I am sure we will be working together in the future to solve major agricultural challenges.

    The UWA Plant Growth Facility (PGF) provides a high-quality, functional and practical growing site for carrying out experiments under controlled conditions. Users are able to control light quality, temperature, water, nutrients and soil composition while eliminating the variability found in nature. The facility has the capacity for a wide range of research projects and is available to all staff and students while also supporting national and international collaborative research.

    The PGF consists of 19 greenhouses, 8 phytotrons, 29 plant growth rooms and 8 plant growth cabinets. Other facilities include an autoclave, soil storage areas and sterilisation equipment, ancillary equipment storage spaces and a deionised water production facility.

    About the Bachelor of Human Sciences

    The Bachelor of Human Sciences degree provides students with the opportunity to develop fundamental interdisciplinary understanding of human function and behaviour (including variation) and the manner in which humans adapts to challenging and disruptive change.
